Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Pinch app ("Pinch", "the app"). By downloading or using Pinch, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Pinch on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

2. Subscriptions (Pinch Pro)

Pinch offers an auto-renewing subscription, Pinch Pro, which unlocks premium features such as unlimited items and meals, complete history, analytics, and cloud sync.

Pinch Pro is offered on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are shown in the app before you purchase and may vary by region.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the then-current price.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions after purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

4. Cooking safety

Pinch is a timing aid, not a substitute for your own judgement. Cooking times are estimates and vary by equipment, quantity, and ingredients. Always follow safe food-handling practices and never leave cooking unattended. You are responsible for the safe preparation of your food.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the food items, meals, and other content you create in Pinch. You grant us the limited rights needed to store and sync that content to provide the service to you.

6. Disclaimers

Pinch is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that estimated timings will be accurate.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pinch and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including spoiled or improperly cooked food.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
